We left Brothers, OR about 3am. Thank the Holy Trinity we made it to an open gas station just in time! Whew. The scenery is breathtaking. We are now pulled over for Lisa to get a nap barely into Mountain time off US 95 south

Well….the Beast connector didn’t match to the trailer so had to go buy an adapter. Got back and hooked it up to find that the trailer brakes lock up when hooked to adapter…gggrrrrr
Next trip to U-haul to rewire it. Since they don’t have a pull thru drive, I had to make a freaking u turn at the dead end. My navigator Lisa jumped to my defense when I banged up the corner of the Beast along with the corner of the trailer.
Joel and Christina came to our aid and low and behold here come Jerry. He tried to help us but it needed to be rewired and since U haul said not until tomorrow that was out of the question. FML
Decided to have Lisa drive the car and I The Beast.
We was at 4900′ elevation in the clouds going past Timberline Lodge off Hwy 26. Very scenic. Beautiful night skies. Breathtaking. Now we have settled for the night in Brother’s, Oregon. Longview 43100 to here 43344.
Had a going away party for me at Mary’s with my new family. I cannot express what I feel for the overwhelming folks that attended tonight. People I only knew for a short time has warmed my heart so much. I will return by the spring to enjoy all of you beautiful sentiment and generosity. I have found so much compassion with so many people. I love y’all all, you are my family.

Today is the day my BFF from Texas arrives. And tomorrow we will be getting ready for our T & L Adventure. God Bless The Beast 🙏

I’m starting a new chapter in my life called Retired & RV’ing. Trying to find a way to share with friends and family at one place instead of Facebook. Of course My Daisy & Lil Willie will be by my side, and looks like maybe my granddog Kona.
